belated mooncake festival celebration

Finally, study week has arrived, sigh. I'm not going back during study week, means that I will stay in my hostel throughout the study week, with my books! =) Time really flies, semester 1 of Year 1 is going to end soon, and so many things had happened in these few months, either sweet or sour, and yeah, I learnt a lot from them =)

Do you still remember the event that I had mentioned in my last post? I am going to reveal it now, that is -> our course belated mooncake festival celebration! Yeah, I know it's kinda late to celebrate now, but better late than nothing right? Glad that we did it, glad that the event ended successfully although there were some minor problems existed. Well, nothing is perfect right? Anyway, that night was an enjoyable one and we held it in Astaka Titiwangsa which is near to our hostel.

Our theme for that night was "Home (家)" and we had a drama based on the theme, station games, interacting session, lucky draws, and the parade with lanterns around Titiwangsa Lake. I was the mother in the drama, and haha... I really wanted to laugh at myself for some funny mistakes that I had made, haha! =P All the actors really put their effort in this drama, and some were really good! They have the potential to become actor! xD

For the station games, there were 4 stations with 4 different games. I was not in charge of the station games, so I just went around the stations to take a look and snapped some photos, seemed that everyone was having fun despite some minor mistakes =) The following event was the interacting session while having a short break with food and drinks. We made use of this oppurtinity to take photos and give the small presents that we had prepared for our own buddylines. I gave my small presents to my buddy and grand buddy, hope that they like it lol =)

The lucky draws were really "interesting" as we gave out unusual gifts, such as bath balls, 1.5L mineral water, socks and etc. After that, the 1st year biomeds sang the theme song for this event, "我们的月亮一定圆". The lyrics are meaningful and suitable with our theme! The parade was the last event, but I didn't go along because I left there to clear up the things before we got back to hostel. We went back to hostel around 11+ pm after finished clearing up everything =)

This was the last event for this semester and I'm looking forward for more interesting events in the coming future! For now... I'M GOING TO STUDY AND BOOKS, I FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU ALL!!! Okay, I'm a little bit extreme lol. All the best to everyone, gambateh!!!

Study week is one week away, so this means that finals are close. Well, this really put me in a tension situation as I really scare for finals, and actually made me not in really good mood recently, stress starts to push on me =.=||| anyway, this doesn't mean I will just stay in front of the books, I need to rest too, so I did went for outing for a few times with coursemates =D

Few days ago I went for steamboat in Shabu One which is located in Lot 10 with some coursemates and ate till really full! =P The price is roughly RM20 something with student card, and RM50+ without student card, so that's the use of students' card! LOL! xD There were various kind of food for you to choose and it's buffet style, so just get what you want to eat, so we kept on eating and eating until we were bloated! The desserts were nice! I like tiramisu and coconut pudding there. The prepared local Taiwanese dishes there also tasted nice, such as honey chicken wings, fried rice and etc. ^^ Not to forget, the "muachi"! But the "muachi" was quite troublesome because the "muachi" had to be grilled first, luckily the waiters were kind and they helped us to grill quite lots of "muachi". You can choose to dip from three flavoured flours, that is chocolate, peanut and green tea. Chocolate and peanut tasted nice! =)

Before that, we went to Pavillion to watch a horror movie "Sorority Rows". Well, actually I kinda scare to watch horror movies, especially after "Orpan" because I was hiding my eyes by taking up my bag when the horror scenes appeared, but I just gave it a try, to release stress? =D Anyway, this movie made me screamed and my heart beat at a faster rate. Quite nice, I prefer "Orphan" storylines but "Sorority Rows" are horror-er lol =P Taken some photos from Jia Hui's Facebook album, thanks =)

Today I went to duty for a blood donation campaign organized by BSMM. I helped to distribute the certificates and souvenirs to the blood donator there =) Actually I want to donate blood, but when I went to check for my blood pressure, the officer told me that I couldn't do so because I did some minor heart surgeries before when I was still an infant. They afraid that my heart could be affected and bring complications to my health. Sigh, kinda sad actually, but it's okay as I'm still helping around there! I'm not a blood donor, sigh T.T

I guess that's all for now. One week away from study week, and two weeks away from finals! That is so scary! Gonna fall in love with books in these coming weeks lol. Before that, an event is coming soon next week, kinda awaiting for it now! Hope that this event will be a great success =) What's the event? Well, I will reveal it in next post, just wait and see =D

So here I am, staying in front of laptop and blogging again lol. I'm back to KL finally, and started to attend for classes already. Well, the classes for these days were quite less, and I didn't have morning classes for most of the days, nice nice! xD Today is the first day of October and finals is approaching nearer and nearer, I always bear it in mind lol. Anyway, I did went out for outing last Monday to Berjaya Times Square to buy something, but I ended up buying nothing, sigh. I went to watch a Korean movie entitled "Tsunami At Haeundae", a disaster movie with Joyce. The title reflects the contents, so yeah it's about tsunami. I like this movie, the effects are so real and lots of elements are mixed in the movie, such as comedy, love, friendship, family and etc, so no regret lol. Oh ya, I also went to Gasoline for the first time for dinner. The food was quite expensive, but they tasted nice haha, and the whole environment is so special with the decorations and their way of seating the customers. The air is really cold too lol. byebye holidays

Tonight is the last night I'm staying in my home, going back to KL tomorrow. Holidays are too short (lol, holidays are ALWAYS short for me =P) Sigh, I don't have the mood to leave, but I have to leave lol. Anyway, think positive, semester break is coming after 1 month... after my finals, hmmm...

There's some changes in KB that I noticed when I first arrived in KB. "Aiks, there are roads in front of bus station and Pustaka Seri Intan? I used to walk in these areas for so many times wor... they made new roads? And... a new white building in front of bus station?" These questions were lingering in my mind that time, until my mum told me that the new white building is a new shopping mall (Giant with Parkson), and the newly-built roads are one-way roads to avoid traffic jam, I think =P Anyway, I didn't go to the shopping mall yet, maybe next time during my semester break? =D

What had I did during this holidays? Well, I just stay in home most of the time, kinda lazy to go out because the roads are full with cars most of the time. Watching dramas, online, facebook-ing, these are my routines, kinda become 宅女 lol. I did went out to KB for a few times, and the place where I went to the most was KB Mall! haha... I went there for 3 days consecutively, 1st and 2nd time were with my mum, and the 3rd time was for a gathering ^^ 6 of us had attended the gathering, and we had meals for twice, once was in KFC and another one was in Noodle Station for we stayed there for quite a long time. We went around the shops in KB Mall, I got myself a handphone screen protector and a pair of earrings lol. PT carnival + birthday celebration

I'm back finally, oh yeah! Well, I reached home yesterday, delayed my post for one day lol. Actually I could back home on Thursday as I didn't have classes on Thursday and Friday, but I had a class on Friday, so I bought ticket on Friday night. However, the lecturer brought forward the class to Wednesday, but I can't change my ticket to Thursday after I knew about the update, so I ended up to back on Friday, but it's okay because i'm back and that's the main point! =D The roads were so packed with cars, there were so many people were going back to their hometown as well for Raya. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all! ^^

Well, I'm having so much fun in these past few weeks, and I think I really live a university student's life! I went to the PT carnival which was held in Persatuan Hokkien Ulu Langat, Kajang. What I did there? Hmm... I went there to duty and play around after that, really had a great time there. Our college was under external programme group and we had a booth for games there. There were 5 games available, do refer to the photo below for the games lol. I went there for two consecutive days. We pumped lots of balloons, went to "high" in front of the stage while the singers were singing, ate a lot, and lots more! Oh yeah~ very special thanks to external group family too for "shocking" me and another birthday boy lol! Thanks for the birthday songs yeah =)

I went out again the next day to attend the reunion gathering for ex-KMPk students. Actually I decided this quite late because my friends from JPD were not free on that day as they had their own programmes. At first, I planned to go there by myself, but when I walked to the bus station, I saw the rest 12 UKM students, so I went to Mid Valley with by using taxis. I didn't watch movies there, so Kang Lih, Yun Keit and me just walked around Mid Valley, "hang kai kai" ma lol. Before that, we had lunch in Pizza Hut, but unfortunately there was no enough seat for all, so most of them shifted to eat in Manhattan Fish Market. We left around 4 something and I safely reached college around 5 (is it? can't really remember), kinda tired lol. Oh ya, scroll down for photos =)

Around 10pm, I went down again to cafe because my coursemate informed me that we will have some meeting for some event that we are going to organise soon, so i went down to join the meeting. Okay... it was just a normal meeting for sometimes until some of the coursemates went back and they sang birthday song! This actually made Yun Ying and me kinda shocked (Yun Ying's birthday was one day earlier than mine) Thanks to all the coursemates for this surprise, and thanks to you all too for giving us so many "tasks" to complete, haha. The "tasks" were quite "tough", but we did it! =P

Besides, some of my coursemates and me also went to Berjaya Times Square the next day (14/9) to watch "Orphan" because we didn't have the mentor mentee session in the evening. "Orphan" is so thrilling and scary~ we were like couldn't sit properly lol, but the movie was a nice one =) We also went to shop before the movie started, and I got myself a bag finally! =D Come come, take a look on photos! After wrote this post, I found that I had a fun time and enjoyed a lot recently. Actually I can separate this post into three posts, but I'm kinda lazy =P There were so many events happening in just a few days, and these events were so memorable lol. Anyway, final is also around the corner, so be aware and be prepared, can't play too much already, time to study! There are still some events going on after this holidays, so GAMBATE and AZA AZA FIGHTING in everything! And, I want to thank to all my friends who had wished me and gave me presents for my birthday, thanks and I really appreciate them a lot, I had a really memorable birthday this year =)

Today is 090909, what a nice date! This date is perfect for couples to symbolize eternity. Well, I guess this date is also perfect to friends and families to symbolize eternity right? Anyway, I hope today will be a nice day, let's enjoy ^^

I just came back from Cameron Highland for a camp a few days ago. This camp is organized by 升之家 (I don't what's the name in English, it's a club that assists the students to get more information about universities.) We had practical replacement on Saturday, so we waited for bus outside of our faculty buildings after the practical session ended. Most of the participants from the other courses were already in the bus. I was placed in the bus A, together with Yun Ying, Wan Yong, Cecilia and Yi Cheng, my coursemates =) Sow Ling and Chuey Sien were also in the same bus with us. We were served with fried rice as our lunch in the bus which were cooked by the committee members. After that, we were taught to sing and dance the camp's theme song int the bus, which is 朋友出去走走 (friends, let's go out and walk aroud), a really relaxing song.

After a few hours journey, finally we reached the apartment. I was placed in the blue team together with another 7 team members, and our team's name was Super瓜, kinda cute name lol. The瓜comes from the main theme of the whole camp which was "冲上高原种瓜瓜", each team has to include one of the word from the theme according to the instruction =)

Some of the activities which we had there were simple talks, counselling session, night of soul (directly translated from Chinese which is 心灵之夜, kinda weird = =), debates and presentations on current education system, some games and etc. Well, personally I prefer the counselling session and night of soul. The counselling session really taught me a lot about the counselling skills, and one more thing, the committee members' acting are so real, salute them a lot. For the night of soul, it's actually a platform for you to share your inner feelings with your group members and they will be kept as secret among the group members. I felt like lifted something heavy out of my heart after this session, and thanks to all my group members =) The games were really nice too and our group won the"一字千金"game, which was a game that requires you to collect all the words needed either by bidding, buying from others and so on, enjoyed and learnt a lot about the principles behind the game =)

Well, we don't really get to walk around there a lot, because we just stayed indoor most of the time for the activities, and the activities are really great! All the food were cooked by the committee members, so the food really tasted like home cooked food, nice. Actually the whole camp wanted to present the feeling of "home", and they made it. Although we just stayed in an apartment, but because of limited spaces, we were closed to each other =) Here i attached some photos that we had taken during the short trip to Brinchang, after our whole camp session ended and before we went back to KL =(

Do you notice some difference in my blog? Yup, i changed my blog's layout today. Well, i just feel like wanna change it suddenly, so i browsed for some blog skins and ended up with this layout that i'm currently using, a lil bit blur now because i surf for quite long time lol. I simply love this layout because it looks so warm and lovely with the combination of soft colours. Hope that you all will like it as well ^^

Hmm... well, as what i had said in my previous post, i just stayed in my room most for these few days. my laptop was on for most of the time and of course, i stayed in front of laptop for most of the time as well. what i did? hmm, watching drama, listening to songs, Facebook-ing, chatting and etc. i also read the novels which i had bought in the Book Fest, still in the progress and nice story =) one more day left for this long weekend and i'm going back to campus and start attending for classes again =)

Something to share here ^^ Actually i wanna share this in my previous post, but i forgot about it until i browsed around my handphone just now and found these photos lol. I don't know whether this is common or not, but i discover a twin banana =) Hmmm... My aunt gave me some bananas during my last stay in their home few weeks back. When i took out and wanna ate the bananas, i found them lol, just thought them they were quite special lol. Well, the taste was just the same, just the look a lil bit different =P

after 3 months

I saw some spiders are crawling on my blog… and so many spider webs, so dusty! Yerrr~ why is my blog so dusty? Okay, I’m just being funny lol, i know that i didn’t update my blog for ages and really sorry for that. I am lazy+moodless+don’t-know-what-else for these past 3 months. 3 months?! Yea, 3 months, quite long huh? Well, many things had happened in these 3 months, and these 3 months did have quite big impact in my life, i think so =)

First of all, i would like to state about my condition now to those who don’t know yet. I am currently studying in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia after finished my matriculation and pursuing Biomedical Science. I didn’t manage to get a place in USM which is just about 20 minutes away from my house by driving. Sigh, actually i am one of the victims in the blunder case, really sad because i thought i manage to secure a place in dentistry there, and it’s so near to my home (I can come back almost every week… or day if I want, I guess), but this only lasted for one day and “byebye” to USM, *sob sob*

After that i put my hope on UPU, hoping that I will get into my top choices in UPU list, and the reality is i didn’t manage to get either one of them, instead i got my 7th choice which is Biomedical Science in UKM. Not that i dislike my course or what, just that i didn’t really expect to get my last choices, a lil bit shock. I tried to change my course here although i realise that the chances are really slim, just wanna give it a shot, at least i tried right? Well, in the end i didn’t manage to do so because no vacancy is available. Never mind, i am actually enjoying myself more and more in this course as days past. I had learnt and experienced lots of new things here and made many new friends here, from different courses and states. Thanks to all the seniors and friends who had guided me a lot and nice to meet you all here ^^ Oh ya, i met Hui Lin, Zhuo Ying and Sow Ling again in UKM, haha... Three of them are currently in the same course, that is Nutrition, such a coincidence! A small KMPk-ers reunion LOL! FYI, my mid semester exam was over since yesterday, let’s party! sigh, actually i kinda worry about the results, but i am not going to think about it first in this few days, going to enjoy my sweet and long weekend. Talk about celebration, i went out twice already, that is yesterday and today with my coursemates. Yesterday we went to Lowyat and had dinner in Nando’s. That was my first time in Nando’s and i found the food was quite delicious. Today we went to KLCC for a book fair there. I bought 2 books which i think really nice and worth it. We also had our lunch in Pizza Hut today and super full, haha. There were so many books available in the book fair, so we kept on go round and round to “hunt” for books. Well, i guess i will just stay indoor for these few days, online + reading books + watching dramas and the list go on. My roommate is currently away for these few days as she went to Genting =) We are supposed to have a lab replacement tomorrow, but our lecturers postpone it to next week, sigh~ this affects my another plan actually =X and if they inform earlier, then maybe i will go back to Kelantan. Never mind, i am waiting for raya holidays! ^^

I guess that’s all for this post. This is just the summary of everything in these past 3 months, haha ^^ anyway, have a nice day everyone and Happy Independence Day to Malaysia and everyone lol! =)

finally, the PSPM 2 results were released and i got the results that i wanted! =D
i thought that the results would be released on 10 am, 20 May 2009, according to the official notice at the BMKPM site, but i received some messages from my matriculation friends on Tuesday night, stated that the results were already available to check by that time, kinda shocked actually.
how nervous was i when i discovered about this, and i was in KB Mall that time, waiting for my sister to finish her tuition.
so, the first thing i did when i got back to home -> switched on my laptop and went online to check my results... and luckily i manage to secure the results that i wanted, before this i kinda worried because i did some careless and silly mistakes during examination, thanks God! =)

and now... i have to continue with the Phase 2 for application into public universities.
sigh, i dislike decision making because i'm not really good in it and that's what i exactly need to do now, i have to finalise my choices of courses and universities.
i done the USM application and left the UPU application, hmmm~
maybe i will just stick to what i had filled before this, or maybe i will do some minor changes, or another maybe? lol...
take it easy, calm down... just be patient and go through it, Ling Fei!
maybe i take the matter too seriously =.="

hmm... i felt kinda bored in home recently, most of the time i just online, watched dramas, complete my 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles part by part, read some story books, and etc, but still, i feel kinda bored... haha =P
a few days before this... erm, i think during Monday, i went back to SMCH with Li En, Ee Wern, Pui Sheung and Hui Min.
the main purpose i went there was to take my SPM certificate.
well, we met quite many teachers in the office and they asked us the usual questions, like where we are studying, what course are we taking and so on.
besides, we also met up with some form 6 friends and chatted with them.
actually i just have some close friends who are still in form 6, most of my secondary school friends had left as well =)
after that we also went to Hayaki, ordered for some cold drinks and sat there for sometime, continued our chit-chatting lol =)
the whole "trip" was quite nice, at least i was out of my daily routine a while haha =X

well, i still missed those days when we were in KMPk, studying, playing and much much more.
although the life in KMPk was quite hectic, we still enjoy it so much.
missed those time when we went down for dinner together, went to mini mart together, "pou" at "dei tau" and chatted for such a long time, studying together, gathered in a room and watched movie together (again, chatting! haha =P), slept together, went to trip together, went outing together, went out to Lawan Kuda for either breakfast or dinner together, and the list goes on and on =P
KMPk... how reluctant i was when i knew i have to go there, and how sad i was when i had to left there, exactly like what my sister said to me: "i went there by force, and i went back by force too," funny and yet true =)
anyway, sweet memories stay forever right? i will surely keep every single moment in KMPk deep in my head.

P/S: wow, this is a rather lengthy and random post, i'm in the mood for blogging now (to free my mind a while lol) maybe i'm a little bit "cheong hei" lol =P

my very first cake!

yay~ i baked my very first cake today! ^^
actually i just used the prepared flour, so i don't have to weigh the sugar, flour and so on as the prepared flour already has all of those ingredients, but of course i have to add the butter and the eggs =)

first, i took the butter out from the fridge, melted it in the oven, waited for the melted butter to cool down, mix the prepared flour with water and eggs in a container...
and i found out something: the cake mixer is spoilt! T.T
my mum also just knew it because she didn't bake cake for quite a long time already.
instead of throwing off everything, i decide to mix the batter by my own hands.
don't get shocked, i mean by using the cake mixer's mixer sticks (don't know what is the correct term for that thing lol), not with my bare hands =P

so, i mixed the batter for sometimes, and then added the melted butter into the batter.
just tried my best to mix the batter well, because i knew the cake mixer definitely mix better and more even =X
after that, i poured the batter into a round steel container and put it into the oven ^^
about 40 minutes later, i went to take out the cake (with a few "visits" to the oven to ensure the cake is not "hangus" haha =.="), and then...
TADAA...!

lol, i know it's not really good looking but i quite satisfied with it, at least no "hangus" k? =P
the taste is quite good actually, but a little bit uneven, maybe because of hand mixed lol~
nevermind, i will perform better next time, and i want to try to mix all the flour, sugar and other ingredients and make it into a cake, not by using the prepared flour lol ^^
i guess i will be eating this tomorrow for meals? lol =P


P/S: my mum cooked chicken rice today! yummy~ haha ^^ some of my friends said that results will be released on this coming Wednesday, scary~ anyway, just keep my finger crossed and hope for the best! wish me luck lol! =D
